A minor in innovation in society provides students with an understanding of how new and emerging technologies can connect with the social needs and values of our communities to provide the best possible local and global futures. The minor program is intended to equip students with tools and concepts from the social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, and engineering in order to prepare to build more inclusive futures. It will enable students to understand the broader context of their major and help them to bridge those studies with other disciplines to develop more encompassing solutions to important problems.
